Piedmont Outdoor Painting Society

The Piedmont Outdoor Painting Society is a group of
professional artists, who are all dedicated
plein air, or outdoor, painters.
We work in a variety of media – oil, pastel, and watercolor –
when we are outside on location.
We paint together every week, weather permitting, at
locations in and around the Piedmont Triad area of
North Carolina, and sometimes farther afield.

We have had numerous group exhibits of our work and
we enjoy partnering with organizations such as
the Piedmont Land Conservancy, to preserve the beauty
of the sites in our paintings and to donate a portion
of our sales to their cause.
