Welcome to our website!
The Piedmont Outdoor Painting Society is a group of professional artists, all of whom are dedicated plein air (outdoor) painters. We paint together every week, weather permitting, at locations in and around the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, and sometimes farther afield. Our members work in a variety of media including oil, pastel, and watercolor when we are on location.
We really love having group exhibitions of our work. What fun it is to see all of the work on display and to compare how different artists have interpreted the same scene!
