The Piedmont Outdoor Painting Society is a group of professional artists, all of whom are dedicated plein air, or outdoor, painters. We paint together every week, weather permitting, at
locations in and around the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, and sometimes farther afield. Our members work in a variety of media including oil, pastel, and watercolor when we are outside on location.

We really love having group exhibitions of our work and enjoy partnering with organizations such as the Piedmont Land Conservancy, preserving the beauty of the sites in our paintings and to donate a portion of our sales to their cause.

What fun it is to see all of our work on display and to compare how different artists have interpreted the same scene!
